Unity

As believers in Jesus Christ, we are told in God’s Word: “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” (Romans 12:18)  The Cantate Home School Choir is made up of a broad variety of home schooling Christian families.  The Cantate Home School Choir environment should not be used as a platform to press personal doctrinal views or convictions.  Rather, let us come together as the Apostle Paul encouraged the Corinthians: “I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.” (I Corinthians 1:10)  Let us unite in the common goal of worshipping our Lord through the gift of music, ministering to those who would hear us, and in the Godly encouragement of our members.

Purity and Behavior

The Cantate Home School Choir setting is meant for pure, friendship type relationships. Romantic displays of affection are not allowed and all students should keep their hands and body parts to themselves.  This would include rough housing and flirting.  There is to be NO RUNNING in the building before or after rehearsals.  All students will stay close to their family before and after rehearsal so as to respect the church property and the safety of others.
