Steven Charles Mangle majored in church music at Western Baptist Bible College in Salem, Oregon where he directed and accompanied a ladies touring ensemble. After college, Steve moved back home to Concord, California where he became the principle accompanist at the Evangelical Free Church of Walnut Creek and served for two years as interim music pastor. In 1996, Steve moved to the Pacific Northwest where he began employment as the music assistant at Christ’s Church at Federal Way and later became the Pastor of Worship Arts Ministries. Steve’s primary responsibilities include shepherding those who serve in the creative arts and music, designing and leading worship each Sunday, directing adult choir, orchestra and worship band, and overseeing drama, youth, and children’s music at the church. Steve writes and arranges choral and instrumental worship music and teaches private piano students. As a father of four, Steve loves spending time with wife, Carrie Jo, and their entire family. Carrie Jo Mangle graduated from Central Washington University in 1994 with a Bachelors of Music in Education. After receiving endorsements in K-12 Choral, Instrumental, and General music, Carrie Jo took a teaching job in the Federal Way School District as the Music Teacher for Wildwood Elementary. A year later, Carrie Jo gained additional employment with “The Northwest Girlchoir” in Seattle, WA as a “Choir Club” director where she directed three enthusiastic choral groups of 2^nd – 4^th grade girls for the next three years. It was during this time that Carrie Jo met her future husband, Steve Mangle, at Christ’s Church at Federal Way (CCFW). They were married in 1997 and soon after, Steve was hired as the “Worship Arts Director/Pastor” at CCFW where they both continue to serve the body of Christ. Carrie Jo has directed the CCFW Children’s Choirs for the last 9 years and also launched the Christ’s Church Puppet Team 7 years ago. In addition, she has directed youth choirs and assisted in the adult dramatic choral presentations and dramas. The Mangles teach private piano and voice lessons out of their home. Carrie Jo spends time writing, recording and mixing puppet scripts for the Vacation Bible School program for CCFW. She delights in home schooling their four children and directing the Cantate! Home School Choir.
